Visitors need to take boat at Port Klang to Pulau Ketam, there are 2 common ways getting to Port Klang, either by KTM (commuter train) or take your own drive.

If you prefer KTM, remember to take the Port Klang Line. You can take the service at KL Sentral Station in Kuala Lumpur, with the train stopping at every station along the way, it will takes around an hour to reach Port Klang. The ticket costs you RM4.30 for adult and RM2.10 for kid, do checkout their website for their most updated fees and services, you can also find their timetable here.

 If you decided to drive just like we did, can either take the route of Federal Highway or Kesas Highway, and follow the sign board to Jeti Pulau Ketam or Port Klang (South Port), that will lead you all the way to destination. When you are reaching the end of the route, there will be  bus station, Police Station and KTM Port Klang Station on your right. Car Park are availabe at KTM Terminal and in front of the Police Station.

 The jetty was just 3mins walk from the Port Klang KTM Station, go straight after came out from KTM station.

 There were several boat services from Port Klang to Pulau Ketam, ferry with air conditional, speedboat and green wooden boat. We took ferry, the one way ticket costs RM7 for adult and RM4 for children, you can either buy the ticket at Pork Klang or pay after onboard. The ferry ride takes around 40mins.

Inside ferry, let get a good seat before others onboard.

 If you prefer to reach Pulau Ketam faster, can try the speedboat at the cost of RM10 per adult and RM5 per child for one way ticket, take around 15-20mins to arrive.

    Hi Alec. Great article. Me n family wish to visit pulau ketam for 1 night but just curious about where to park car.

    Can park inside ktm? Or is there any other car park? What is the parking rate?

    Is it safe also?
