napoli pizza taipei

Taiwanese food is great, but if you want a break from it and just splurge in a good old fast food joint then I highly recommend Napoli Pizza!  It is a fast food pizza franchise in Taipei, and to my surprise it was actually quite good, and quite reasonably priced.  The best thing I found about it was that it combined the best of both worlds….Fried Chicken and Pizza!  What more can you ask for???

The Napoli Pizza can be found in most neighborhoods in Taipei.  My wife and I visited the Minsheng Road branch near Shuanglian MRT station.  It was quite cheap, for about 249 Taiwan dollars (about 8.00 USD) we got a 2 person set meal, that comes with a medium sized pan pizza, 2 soft drinks, and 2 large fried chicken pieces!

I wasn’t expecting much, but when the food came out, the portions were quite big, and definitely for that price it was well worth it!  To put things to perspective for such a similar combo at a Pizza Hut in Singapore, it would have costed us about 4 times more, but with a way smaller portions…its actually quite crappy eating at Pizza Hut in Singapore!

So if you are ever in Taipei and looking for a quick bite, then I highly recommend you to check out the nearest Napoli Pizza branch!  It’s totally awesome, cheap and good!
